Over a year ago, I found an article about eco-friendly hair accessories. One of the brands mentioned was Undo (Zuzii, at the time). They didn’t have any hair clips in black, so I waited almost a year — not that I didn't like the other colors. I think they’re all gorgeous! I'm just weird and only wear black. (๑˃‿˂)
Since these are the most expensive hair clips I've ever purchased, I only bought two: one 2” claw clip and one 4” claw clip. So far, I love them both! Firstly, the quality is excellent. It looks and feels durable, and their spring mechanism looks more long-lasting than most hair clips. They both have tension when opened but it doesn't hurt my hand. And I also like that they don't have a high-pitched snap when they close, like a lot of the cheaper plastic ones tend to do.
I have very long but slightly thinning pandemic hair, and both the 2” and 4” clips (individually) hold my hair back without slipping down like with my older clip. I also use them to hold my hair in a bun when needed (one on each side). While the 2” clip does a good job for this, I think I’ll buy another 4” clip in the future. Now, if they make these clips in matte black, that would be great! (⚆‿⚆)
