I love the jelly like slightly translucent tone of this clip and the little gold accents, they give the clip such a chic vibe and I feel so luxurious and special when I wear it. I was debating between all the different sizes and went with this because on my long but fine/slightly thin hair, it works for full updos and for half-up half-downs. I realllllyy love how narrow/closed the mouth is, this is key for gripping my hair because my hair is very smooth and the clip would slide right off my hair if the mouth were any wider (since there are no extra teeth/silicone grippy things inside). I also love how the teeth overlap and curve away from the head, this makes the clip so comfy that I don’t even feel it on my head when I’m wearing it for long periods of time. It never pulls on my hair either. I was debating taking off one star because it feels a bit overpriced for how lightweight it is and the clamp isn’t as tight as I was expecting, but given that it’s held up well and I reach for it daily, I decided to leave it at 5 starts.
I have thinner hair & this size helps my hair to feel the most secure. This is the only clip I’ve ever owned that I don’t need to readjust. It stays put all day long. It’s a great purchase!
