U-Pin

Bought for my daughter with long hair, discovered it works well for my not quite shoulder length hair, too. Beautiful appearance.

I looked at lots of french pins from Ficcare, France Luxe, Machete, Kitsch, Lelet NY, etc., but I kept coming back to this Undo pin. The rendering of the olive color online is true to the pin's actual color in person. It's a beautiful deep olive or khaki green which becomes softer as it reaches the thinner acetate at the base of the prongs. I have dark brown hair and I think it's a great and versatile alternative to classic tortoise or plain brown. The shape feels minimalist and refined, not basic. The Italian acetate is substantial and firm, so far withstanding all my botched attempts to perfect the flip and slide technique without bending out of shape at all. I think the length of this pin is on the smaller side compared to some others I considered. This factored into my decision to purchase the Undo pin as I have a somewhat smaller noggin and fine hair.

This is my first time using a French pin and I absolutely love itlove it! I can twist my hair once and the pin will stay all day, no readjustments needed! I prefer this pin to claw clips because of how flat it sits against my head. It’s seamless and you can barely tell that it is there!

i was hesitant to try a pin but it works great! it’s not hard on the scalp and only takes watching a couple youtube videos to know how to use it.
